Prizes to be won!
Hey hackathon participants, we received a lot of questions about prizes a team can win in TRON Grand Hackathon 2022 Season 2, let us list out a simple-to-understand prizing structure here to show you the possibilities!
A team can submit multiple Hackathon projects for this season, each project needs to be in one of the NFT, Web3, DeFi or GameFi tracks. You may submit multiple projects with different tracks.
It is compulsory to submit your project before the submission deadline on DevPost which is on Jul 25, 2022 @ 5:00pm EDT.
If you are one of the top 8 projects with the highest voted scores (voted by judges) from each of the 4 tracks, you will get a prize.
1st Prize $60k
2nd Prize $40k
3rd Prize $30k
4th Prize $25k
5th Prize $20k
1st Runner Up $5k
2nd Runner Up $5k
3rd Runner Up $5k
Furthermore, there’s a $5K Bonus Devpost Community Prize that will be awarded to the top voted hackathon project by the DevPost community. Yes, this is another prize you can win on top of one of the 32 prizes for DevPost participants.
Additionally, by listing your project on the TRON DAO Forum, you open yourself to 32 more prizes to be won. There will also be 8 prizes for each track. The forum hackathon winners will be voted by the TRON DAO Forum community. You are encouraged to post your project on the forum ASAP so more community members get to learn about your project as you update your project post.

If you just so happened to miss the spot to win any of the prizes mentioned above, we still have 3 bonus prizes for you to take a shot at! These bonus prizes will be awarded to projects that did not win another prize.
- $5K Bonus TRON Ecosystem Prize - Determined by the TRON DAO team based on a project’s valuable contribution to the TRON Ecosystem.
- $5K Bonus Potential Project Prize - Determined by the TRON DAO team based on a project’s potential value.
- $5K Bonus Community Contributor Prize - Determined by the TRON DAO team based on an individual's valuable contributions during the hackathon. Up to 10 individuals may split this prize pool with a minimum of $500/per person. You heard it right, even if you are not a Hackathon project participant, simply participate and help out others in the TRON DAO Forum and you may potentially win a prize as well!
